I’m so excited to share with you my first baby shower invitations. My sister Jill, of My Heirloom Bridal had a playful and whimsical theme in mind for her shower and wanted to tie in hot air balloons somehow. I immediately thought of creating a pop-up card, they can bring out the kid in all of us and tied into the theme perfectly. For the hot air balloon pop-up we used a sweet pairing of soft colors, sage and blush and the tag line “Up, Up and Away!” combined with cloud imagery created the perfect stamp for the cover, continuing with the adventure theme. To add a touch of sophistication we used an aubergine envelope and of course added in some cloud lines to the address labels. I love all the different textures that were used on this project especially the stamp on the cover.
